BERAHN®-Gas

The analysis of BERAHN®-Gas via gas chromatography found out that the gas contains valuable chemical basic materials such as ethylene (ca. 3.3 vol.%), propylene (ca. 2 vol.%) and butylene (ca. 1.7 vol.%). These basic materials are used as monomer precursor for creation of synthetics.

The gas can also be used to generate synthesis gas in a similar way as the oil is utilized. The synthesis gas can be used to produce methanol, ammonia, synthesis fuel, or hydrogen. However, the described utilization implies a high capacity of the gas-producing plant and some technical effort to provide economical efficiency.

BERAHN®-Gas has a burning gas rate of 60 vol. %. Therefore we recommend the employment in a block heat and power station or gas-steam power plant in order to run the plant self-sustaining.
